A quick look at the history of computers shows that we went from a stand alone computer with a printer to an entire world connected via an ENORMOUS network called the Internet that is so powerful that from one application called a browser we can watch movies, call people and pay bills as well as get millions of dollars for helping a Nigerian banker, download various credit card numbers and have access to some very disturbing pictures and video. Plus there are now hand-held devices aka "cell phones" which are small computers that can access everything on the net as well. Does this shed some light on how complicated, complex and confusing our electronic world has become?
